The house has been cleaned inside out, given the OCD that I have. The ferry lights have been hung and mom’s already making her signature sweet dishes. I like the vibe when people get excited about celebrations and there is a happy humdrum all around. Of course, shopping at this time ends up being a ritual. I managed to get gifts for everybody during my transitory stay in Bangalore last week and also, indulge in some self-pampering at Jean Claude Biguine.
When it comes to beauty, do as the French say! Having worked with Jean Claude Biguine for a couple of editorials in the past (like this & this), I thought of trying out their new hair & skin services just in time before Diwali. 🙂
Marine Intelligence Skin Care
A skincare methodology from THALGO that explores the ocean to extract active molecules and helps regenerate, moisturise, stimulate and nourish the skin simultaneously minimising the ecological footprint. It’s not the usual CTM (cleansing, toning and moisturising) but involves oxygenating, energising and then treating the skin with exclusive massage techniques.
Wella Hair Care
Having used Wella products for quite some time, they are indeed hairdressers at heart. Sebastian and SP are hair care brands by Wella, with a good range of innovative products. My frequent travelling schedule calls for hair repair spa to keep them healthy, wealthy and wise!
Now, this was something really interesting. A use-&-throw kit that contains disposable tools and foot care mask with aloe vera, collagen and tea tree that relax and cleanse the feet without even touching water. This Pedikit comes quiet handy while travelling too. I am sure they will soon find a place i
n my bag too!
I am sure this is going to be a beauty-ful Diwali. Not just that, these beauty indulgences will turn into a monthly ritual soon. Happy Diwali y’all!
